.NOW...
PATCHY DENSE FOG CONTINUES TO BE OBSERVED ACROSS NORTHERN
ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA EARLY THIS MORNING...WITH BRIEF
REDUCTIONS TO UNDER ONE HALF MILE AT TIMES. AIR TEMPERATURES IN
THE MID 20S WILL LIKELY SUPPORT SOME ISOLATED ICY SURFACES UNDER
THE MORE DENSE FOG. MOTORISTS WHO APPROACH THIS FOG SHOULD BE
PREPARED FOR RAPID CHANGES IN VISIBILITY AND A QUICK TRANSITION
FROM DRY ROAD SURFACES TO POSSIBLE SLIPPERY ROAD SURFACES.
