.NOW...LIGHT SNOW AND ICE ACCUMULATIONS ON AREA ROADS IN LAUDERDALE
AND COLBERT COUNTIES WILL GRADUALLY BE MELTING THIS MORNING AS
TEMPERATURES SLOWLY CLIMB ABOVE FREEZING. HOWEVER, GROUND
TEMPERATURES MAY REMAIN SUFFICIENTLY COLD FOR PATCHES OF ICE AND
SNOW TO REMAIN OVER SHADED LOCATIONS UNTIL ABOUT 11 AM.

PATCHY FOG AND LIGHT FREEZING FOG MAY ALSO OCCUR IN SOME LOCATIONS,
SO MOTORISTS ARE URGED TO EXERCISE CAUTION AND ALLOW FOR EXTRA
DRIVING TIME WHEN COMMUTING ON ROADWAYS IN NORTHWESTERN ALABAMA
THIS MORNING.
