AT 815 PM MDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR SHOWS
AREAS OF ENHANCED ECHOS ACROSS DONA ANA AND EASTERN SIERRA
COUNTIES IN NEW MEXICO AND PORTIONS OF WESTERN AND EASTERN EL PASO
COUNTY AND EASTERN HUDSPETH COUNTIES IN TEXAS. THESE ECHOS ARE
TRACKING TO THE NORTHEAST. THESE WEAK RADAR SIGNATURES ARE
DEPICTING LIGHT HIGH BASED SHOWERS. THE RAIN FROM THESE SHOWERS IS
GENERALLY EVAPORATING BEFORE REACHING THE GROUND. THIS POSES A
THREAT OF STRONG GUSTY DOWN BURST WINDS IN THE VICINITY OF THESE
SHOWERS. PERSONS EAST OF THE RIO GRANDE SHOULD ANTICIPATE SUDDEN
WIND GUSTS TO 50 MPH AS THESE SHOWERS PASS.
