PORTIONS OF THE EASTERN PLAINS THIS MORNING AS IT TRACKS TO THE
NORTH NORTHWEST. THROUGH 800 AM MDT...MODERATE RAIN WILL BE MOST
COMMON FROM CENTRAL SAN MIGUEL COUNTY THEN SOUTH TO GUADALUPE...
WESTERN TORRANCE...EASTERN LINCOLN...DE BACA AND CHAVES COUNTIES.
THIS WILL IMPACT INTERSTATE 40 FROM CLINES CORNERS THROUGH SANTA ROSA
TO NEWKIRK AS WELL AS LOCATIONS IN OR NEAR ANTON CHICO...VAUGHN...
RAMON AND YESO.  A SECOND AREA OF SHOWERS WILL CONTINUE OVER SOUTHERN
LINCOLN AND SOUTHWEST CHAVES COUNTIES INCLUDING OSCURO...CARRIZOZO...
RUIDOSO...HONDO...ELK AND DUNKEN. ACCUMULATIONS WILL RANGE FROM A FEW
HUNDRETHS OF AN INCH IN LIGHT SHOWERS TO LOCAL AREAS OF TWO TO FOUR
TENTHS OF AN INCH IN AN HOUR. EXPECT OCCASIONAL SUDDEN DECREASES IN
VISIBILITY IN AREAS OF RAIN AND OR FOG...ESPECIALLY AROUND THE SIERRA
BLANCA AIRPORT...AS WELL AS POTENTIAL PONDING ON ROADWAYS. RUNOFF
COULD CAUSE INCREASED FLOWS IN LOW LYING AREAS...ARROYOS...LOW WATER
