NORTH CAROLINA COAST...

.A TIGHT PRESSURE GRADIENT BETWEEN DEEP LOW PRESSURE OFF THE MID
ATLANTIC COAST AND HIGH PRESSURE BUILDING TO THE WEST WILL KEEP
WINDS TO 20 TO 25 KNOTS OVER THE SOUNDS AND NORTHERN AND CENTRAL
COASTAL WATERS TODAY. WINDS WILL SUBSIDE BELOW SMALL CRAFT
ADVISORY CRITERIA FOR THE ALBEMARLE AND PAMLICO SOUNDS AND SOUTH
OF OCRACOKE LATER THIS AFTERNOON. WINDS AND SEAS WILL SUBSIDE
BELOW SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY LEVELS FOR THE CENTRAL AND NORTHERN
COASTAL WATERS ON FRIDAY.
