...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE ATLANTIC WATERS AND EAST OF PUERTO
RICO...

AT 1237 PM AST...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THUNDERSTORMS...PRODUCING
STRONG WINDS UP TO 33 KNOTS AND LIGHTNING. ALSO...THUNDERSTORMS
DEVELOPING OVER THE NORTHERN COASTAL AREAS OF PUERTO RICO WILL MOVE
ONSHORE OVER THE NEXT FEW HOURS.

MARINERS CAN EXPECT GUSTY WINDS UP TO 33 KNOTS...LOCALLY HIGHER
WAVES...AND LIGHTNING STRIKES. BOATERS SHOULD SEEK SAFE HARBOR
IMMEDIATELY UNTIL THIS STORM PASSES.

INTENSE LIGHTNING IS OCCURRING WITH THESE STORMS. IF CAUGHT ON THE
OPEN WATER STAY BELOW DECK IF POSSIBLE...KEEP AWAY FROM UNGROUNDED
METAL OBJECTS. THESE THUNDERSTORMS CAN ALSO PRODUCE SUDDEN
WATERSPOUTS. WATERSPOUTS CAN EASILY OVERTURN BOATS AND CREATE
LOCALLY HAZARDOUS SEAS.
