...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE LOCAL WATERS...

AT 830 AM AST...THE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THUNDERSTORMS...PRODUCING
STRONG GUSTY WINDS AND OCCASIONAL LIGHTNING OVER THE LOCAL
WATERS. THESE STORMS ARE MOVING NORTH AT 10 KNOTS. THE WEATHER
CONDITIONS ARE CONDUCIVE FOR ADDITIONAL THUNDERSTORM DEVELOPMENT
THROUGH THE DAY.

MARINERS CAN EXPECT GUSTY WINDS UP TO 33 KNOTS...LOCALLY HIGHER
WAVES...LIGHTNING STRIKES. SUDDEN WATERSPOUTS ARE ALSO POSSIBLE.
BOATERS SHOULD SEEK SAFE HARBOR IMMEDIATELY. IF CAUGHT ON THE OPEN
WATER STAY BELOW DECK IF POSSIBLE...KEEP AWAY FROM UNGROUNDED
METAL OBJECTS.
