...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE WATERS...

AT 419 AM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED AN
AREA OF THUNDERSTORMS OVER SIX MILE REEF...MOVING WEST AT 25 KT.
THIS STORM WILL MOVE ACROSS THE CENTRAL PORTION OF THE LONG ISLAND
SOUND.

MARINERS CAN EXPECT BRIEF HEAVY RAIN AND OCCASIONAL LIGHTNING
STRIKES. BOATERS SHOULD SEEK SAFE HARBOR IMMEDIATELY UNTIL THIS
STORM PASSES.
