AT 3 PM PDT...THE SOUTHERLY SWELL GENERATED BY FORMER HURRICANE MARIE
CONTINUES TO AFFECT THE COASTAL WATERS...BUT IS NOW BEGINNING TO
SUBSIDE. EXPECT THIS TREND TO CONTINUE OVERNIGHT AND SATURDAY.
NONETHELESS...MARINERS AND FISHERMEN SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR
LOCALLY STRONGER THAN TYPICAL CURRENTS...ESPECIALLY THIS AFTERNOON
AND EVENING. AND LARGER THAN NORMAL BREAKERS CAN BE EXPECTED THE
REMAINDER OF THE DAY AND EVENING ALONG SOUTH FACING BEACHES LIKE
THE SANTA CRUZ COUNTY BEACHES.
