THE AREAS AFFECTED INCLUDE...

  OPEN WATERS FROM WINTHROP HARBOR TO MICHIGAN CITY OUT TO MID
  LAKE...

AT 625 PM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A STRONG THUNDERSTORM...
CAPABLE OF PRODUCING WINDS UP TO 33 KNOTS 14 NM EAST OF WILMETTE
HARBOR...MOVING EAST AT 15 KNOTS. ADDITIONAL SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS
MAY DEVELOP THROUGH EARLY EVENING.

THIS THUNDERSTORM WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE EAST OVER THE OPEN WATERS OF
SOUTHERN LAKE MICHIGAN NORTHEAST OF DOWNTOWN CHICAGO.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

BOATERS SHOULD CONSIDER SEEKING SAFE HARBOR UNTIL THIS STORM PASSES.
