A VIGOROUS STORM SYSTEM IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP OVER TEXAS FRIDAY
AND SATURDAY AND MOVE NORTHEAST. THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO
BECOME QUITE NUMEROUS OVER THE COASTAL WATERS THAT MAY BE STRONG
TO SEVERE IN INTENSITY. A SQUALL LINE MAY DEVELOP TO ALSO BRING A
THREAT OF SUDDEN HIGH WIND GUSTS ON THE WATERS SATURDAY NIGHT INTO
EARLY SUNDAY MORNING.

INCREASING EAST TO SOUTHEAST WINDS WILL LIKELY PROMPT THE ISSUANCE
OF SMALL CRAFT ADVISORIES FOR THIS WEEKEND. HIGH THAN NORMAL TIDES
ARE EXPECTED ALONG EAST-FACING SHORES. A COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY IS
NOW IN EFFECT FROM BAY OF ST LOUIS MISSISSIPPI TO THE MOUTH OF THE
MISSISSIPPI RIVER FOR SATURDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH SUNDAY MORNING.

MARINE INTERESTS ARE URGED TO MONITOR THE LATEST FORECASTS...ADVISORIES
AND STATEMENTS OVER THE WEEKEND ON THIS INCLEMENT AND POTENTIALLY
HAZARDOUS MARINE WEATHER SITUATION.
