COASTAL WATERS FROM LOWER ATCHAFALAYA RIVER TO INTRACOASTAL CITY LA
OUT 20 NM OVER GULF OF MEXICO WATERS...
INCLUDING ATCHAFALAYA BAY...

AT 834 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR CONTINUED TO
INDICATE A THUNDERSTORM...PRODUCING STRONG WINDS 34 KNOTS OR GREATER
OVER ATCHAFALAYA BAY...OR ABOUT 3 NM SOUTHWEST OF ATCHAFALAYA BAY...
MOVING EAST AT 40 KNOTS.

THIS STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL OTHERWISE REMAIN AWAY FROM SIGNIFICANT
COASTAL LANDMARKS OVER THE INDICATED AREA.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

MARINERS CAN EXPECT GUSTY WINDS...HIGH WAVES...DANGEROUS LIGHTNING...
AND HEAVY RAINS. BOATERS SHOULD SEEK SAFE HARBOR IMMEDIATELY...UNTIL
