  NEW BUFFALO MI TO ST JOSEPH MI...
  MICHIGAN CITY IN TO NEW BUFFALO MI...
  LAKE MICHIGAN MICHIGAN CITY IN TO ST. JOSEPH MI 5 NM OFF SHORE TO
  MID LAKE...

AT 530 PM CDT...SATELLITE IMAGERY AND BOUY OBSERVATIONS INDICATED A
COLD FRONT OVER SOUTHERN LAKE MICHIGAN...ABOUT 35 NM NORTH OF NEW
BUFFALO...MOVING SOUTH AT 20 KNOTS. WINDS WILL SHIFT SUDDENLY TO THE
NORTH AND INCREASE TO BETWEEN 20 AND 30 KNOTS AS THIS FRONT PASSES
THROUGH MID EVENING.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

BOATERS ON THE LAKE SHOULD PLAN FOR THE EXPECTED FRONTAL PASSAGE AS
WINDS WILL SHIFT NORTH AND INCREASE ABRUPTLY. STAY TUNED TO NOAA
WEATHER RADIO FOR THE LATEST WEATHER INFORMATION FROM THE NATIONAL
WEATHER SERVICE.
