* URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOOD ADVISORY FOR MINOR FLOODING OF POOR
  DRAINAGE AREAS IN...
  WESTERN NASSAU COUNTY IN NORTHEAST FLORIDA...
  SOUTHERN CHARLTON COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST GEORGIA...

* UNTIL 745 PM EDT

* AT 622 PM EDT WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED HEAVY
RAINFALL FROM A SLOW MOVING BAND OF SHOWERS ACROSS SOUTHERN CHARLTON
COUNTY AND WESTERN NASSAU COUNTY. HOURLY RAINFALL RATES OF 2 TO 3
INCHES CAN BE EXPECTED IN THE HEAVIEST ACTIVITY...WHICH COULD CAUSE
FLOODING PROBLEMS IN LOW LYING AREAS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THESE STORMS WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...HIGHWAYS...STREETS AND UNDERPASSES.
ADDITIONALLY...COUNTRY ROADS AND FARMLANDS ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS
AND STREAMS AND OTHER LOW LYING AREAS ARE SUBJECT TO FLOODING.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND. REMEMBER...TURN AROUND DONT DROWN.
