* URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOOD ADVISORY FOR MINOR FLOODING OF POOR
  DRAINAGE AREAS IN...
  NORTHEASTERN DUVAL COUNTY IN NORTHEAST FLORIDA...
  THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF...TALBOT ISLAND...MAYPORT...
  JACKSONVILLE BEACH...ARLINGTON...
  EASTERN NASSAU COUNTY IN NORTHEAST FLORIDA...
  THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF FERNANDINA BEACH...

* UNTIL 645 PM EDT

* AT 443 PM EDT WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A BAND OF HEAVY
  RAIN STRETCHING FROM THE COASTAL WATERS TO FERNANDINA BEACH AND
  ARLINGTON MOVING SOUTHWEST AT 20 MPH. RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 1 TO 2
  INCHES COULD CAUSE LOCALIZED FLOODING IN A FEW SPOTS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THESE STORMS WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...HIGHWAYS...STREETS AND UNDERPASSES.
ADDITIONALLY...COUNTRY ROADS AND FARMLANDS ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS
AND STREAMS AND OTHER LOW LYING AREAS ARE SUBJECT TO FLOODING.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND. REMEMBER...TURN AROUND DONT DROWN.
