THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN JACKSONVILLE HAS ISSUED A

* SMALL STREAM FLOOD ADVISORY FOR MINOR FLOODING OF POOR DRAINAGE
  AREAS IN...
  EASTERN BRANTLEY COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST GEORGIA...

* UNTIL 1030 PM EDT

* AT 825 PM EDT WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED HEAVY RAIN
FROM SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORMS THAT WILL PRODUCE 2 TO 4 INCHES
ACROSS EASTERN BRANTLEY COUNTY MAINLY EAST OF THE U.S. HIGHWAY 301
CORRIDOR AND ALONG THE U.S. HIGHWAY 82 CORRIDOR FROM NAHUNTA TO
ATKINSON TO WAYNESVILLE THAT WILL PRODUCE FLOODING OF POOR DRAINAGE
AREAS DURING THE LATE EVENING HOURS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE ELEVATED LEVELS ON
SMALL CREEKS AND STREAMS...AND PONDING OF WATER ON COUNTRY ROADS AND
FARMLAND ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS AND STREAMS.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND. REMEMBER...TURN AROUND DONT DROWN.
