THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF EAST ARKANSAS...
THE MISSOURI BOOTHEEL...NORTH MISSISSIPPI...AND WEST TENNESSEE.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP OUT AHEAD OF A
COLD FRONT THURSDAY AFTERNOON. SOME OF THESE STORMS COULD BECOME
STRONG WITH GUSTY WINDS AND HAIL. BY THURSDAY NIGHT...A SQUALL
LINE WILL PUSH IN FROM THE WEST. THE LINE IS EXPECTED TO BE
STRONG TO SEVERE WITH DAMAGING WINDS AND LARGE HAIL BEING THE
MAIN THREATS. THERE IS A SLIGHT RISK FOR SEVERE STORMS FOR EASTERN
ARKANSAS AND THE MISSOURI BOOTHEEL. THE LINE IS EXPECTED TO WEAKEN
DURING THE LATE EVENING HOURS AS IT MOVES ACROSS THE MISSISSIPPI
RIVER.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

SPOTTER ACTIVATION MAY BE NEEDED LATE THURSDAY AFTERNOON INTO
THURSDAY NIGHT.
