THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL KANSAS...
SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS AND SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

A FEW STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE OVER SOUTHEAST KANSAS
FOR THIS MORNING AND EARLY AFTERNOON. MEANWHILE...THUNDERSTORMS ARE
EXPECTED TO REDEVELOP LATER THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING ALONG A
WARM FRONTAL BOUNDARY. SOME OF THESE THUNDERSTORMS COULD BECOME
SEVERE...WITH GOLF BALL SIZE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS UP TO 70 MPH
POSSIBLE. IN ADDITION...A FEW TORNADOES WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE INTO
THE LATE EVENING HOURS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

THUNDERSTORMS WILL LINGER INTO THURSDAY...MAINLY FOR LOCATIONS
ALONG AND EAST OF THE KANSAS TURNPIKE. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL
BE POSSIBLE ONCE AGAIN...WITH DAMAGING STRAIGHT LINE WINDS AND
LARGE HAIL AS THE MAIN THREATS.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

SKYWARN SPOTTER ACTIVATION MAY BE NEEDED FOR LATE THIS AFTERNOON
AND EVENING...AND COULD BE REQUIRED AGAIN OVER SOUTHEAST KANSAS
FOR THURSDAY AFTERNOON.
