NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HOUSTON/GALVESTON, TX

...THIS RIVER STATEMENT INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING: SAN BERNARD RIVER...

* THE SAN BERNARD RIVER NEAR EAST BERNARD.
* LATEST STAGE:   12.7 FEET THIS EVENING.
* BANKFULL STAGE: 13.0 FEET.
* FLOOD STAGE:    17.0 FEET.
* FORECAST: THE RIVER IS BELOW ACTION STAGE AND WILL CONTINUE TO FALL. THIS WILL BE THE
LAST RIVER STATEMENT ISSUED FOR THIS FORECAST POINT UNTIL FLOODING IS AGAIN OBSERVED.



PERSONS ARE URGED TO STAY AWAY FROM THE RIVER UNTIL WATER LEVELS RECEDE.

MOTORISTS SHOULD AVOID ANY WATER COVERED ROADS AND FIND AN ALTERNATE ROUTE.

LIVESTOCK AND EQUIPMENT SHOULD REMAIN OUT OF THE FLOOD PLAIN FOR THE NEXT FEW
DAYS.
