.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...
LIGHT AND BRIEF OFFSHORE WINDS THIS MORNING SHOULD SHIFT BACK TO
AN ONSHORE DIRECTION BY THIS AFTERNOON. THE GENERALLY LIGHT
SOUTHEASTERLY FLOW TODAY IS EXPECTED TO STRENGTHEN OVER THE
WEEKEND AS THE GRADIENT TIGHTENS IN RESPONSE TO THE STORM SYSTEM
DEVELOPING IN THE LEE OF THE ROCKIES. THIS NEXT SYSTEM SHOULD
BRING A STRONGER COLD FRONT INTO THE COASTAL WATERS LATE TUESDAY.
