.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...
HIGH PRESSURE WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE EAST OF THE REGION TONIGHT AND
ALLOW WINDS TO SHIFT TO THE EAST THEN SOUTHEAST OVERNIGHT. ONSHORE
WINDS WILL STRENGTHEN BRIEFLY ON MONDAY AS THE GRADIENT TIGHTENS
IN RESPONSE TO THE NEXT STORM SYSTEM DEEPENING OVER THE CENTRAL
PLAINS. THIS SYSTEM WILL HELP DRAG A STRONG COLD FRONT INTO THE
COASTAL WATERS TUESDAY AFTERNOON. VERY COLD AIR IN THE WAKE OF THE
FRONT WILL HELP PRODUCE WIND GUSTS AT OR NEAR GALE FORCE BY
TUESDAY NIGHT.
