FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON LAKE MICHIGAN.

WAVES ARE PROVIDED AS A RANGE OF SIGNIFICANT WAVE HEIGHTS...WHICH
IS THE AVERAGE HEIGHT OF THE HIGHEST 1/3 OF THE WAVES...ALONG
WITH THE AVERAGE HEIGHT OF THE HIGHEST 10 PERCENT OF THE WAVES
WHICH WILL OCCASIONALLY BE ENCOUNTERED.

.SYNOPSIS...A RIDGE OF HIGH PRESSURE AVERAGING 30.1 INCHES OVER
THE EASTERN GREAT LAKES WILL CONTINUE TO SHIFT TO THE EAST THIS
MORNING...WHILE A TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE AVERAGING 29.9 INCHES
OVER THE CENTRAL AND NORTHERN PLAINS SHIFTS EAST TO THE CENTRAL
GREAT LAKES TODAY STRENGTHENING TO 29.7 INCHES. THIS LOW WILL
SHIFT EAST TO THE EASTERN GREAT LAKES WHILE DRAGGING A COLD FRONT
ACROSS THE LAKE TONIGHT...AS HIGH PRESSURE OF 30.1 INCHES BUILDS
ACROSS THE CENTRAL AND NORTHERN PLAINS. THIS HIGH WILL SHIFT EAST
TO THE WESTERN GREAT LAKES TUESDAY AND THEN CONTINUE EAST ACROSS
THE CENTRAL GREAT LAKES TUESDAY NIGHT INTO WEDNESDAY. AS THIS HIGH
SHIFTS TO THE EAST WEDNESDAY NIGHT INTO THURSDAY...A TROUGH OF LOW
PRESSURE AVERAGING 29.6 INCHES OVER THE CENTRAL AND NORTHERN
PLAINS WILL MOVE EAST TOWARDS THE WESTERN GREAT LAKES AND THEN
MOVE EAST ACROSS THE CENTRAL GREAT LAKES THURSDAY NIGHT INTO
FRIDAY.
