.DISCUSSION...
A COLD FRONT WILL PUSH SOUTH AND SOUTHWEST ACROSS WESTERN NC THIS
EVENING AND TONIGHT. A MOIST EASTERLY FLOW BEHIND THE FRONT WILL HELP
TO DEVELOP SHOWERS AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS THROUGH THE END OF THE DAY
WHICH WILL BECOME NUMEROUS TO WIDESPREAD LATE TONIGHT. EXTENSIVE LOW
CLOUDS AND FOG WILL DEVELOP DURING EARLY SATURDAY MORNING AND MAY
PERSIST INTO MIDDAY SATURDAY. RAIN WILL REMAIN LIKELY INTO SATURDAY
AFTERNOON AND MAY START TO TAPER OFF SOMEWHAT IN THE MID TO LATE
AFTERNOON. SUNDAY WILL ALSO REMAIN UNSETTLED WITH A CHANCE FOR
ADDITIONAL LIGHT RAIN AS THE MOIST EASTERLY UPSLOPE WIND CONTINUES.
ANOTHER COLD FRONT WILL CROSS THE AREA BY THE MIDDLE OF NEXT
WEEK.
