...DISCUSSION FROM SFOFWFMTR...

HIGH PRESSURE POSITIONED OVER CALIFORNIA WILL MAINTAIN ABOVE AVERAGE
TEMPERATURES AND DRY CONDITIONS THROUGH THE END OF THE WEEK. WIND
SPEEDS OVER HIGHER ELEVATIONS WILL INCREASE SLIGHTLY FRIDAY AND
SATURDAY AHEAD OF AN APPROACHING UPPER LEVEL TROUGH. THE APPROACHING
TROUGH WILL ALSO PUSH TROPICAL MOISTURE INTO THE AREA RESULTING IN
INCREASED CLOUD COVER AND MUGGY CONDITIONS.

...DISCUSSION FROM SFOFWFSTO...

HIGH PRESSURE WEAKENS FRIDAY AND SATURDAY AS AN UPPER LEVEL TROUGH
MOVES OVER THE WEST COAST BRINGING A LITTLE COOLER TEMPERATURES AND
LOCALLY GUSTY SOUTHWEST TO WEST WINDS, ESPECIALLY THROUGH THE DELTA
AND AROUND THE BURNEY BASIN AND OVER SIERRA RIDGES. THE TROUGH
SHIFTS TO THE EAST AS HIGH PRESSURE NUDGES INTO NORTHERN CALIFORNIA
BRINGING NORTHERLY WINDS AND WARMER TEMPERATURES ALONG WITH SLIGHTLY
LOWER HUMIDITIES SUNDAY INTO EARLY TUESDAY.
