FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR UPPER MICHIGAN
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MARQUETTE MI
546 AM EDT THU JUL 31 2014

...ISOLATED TO SCATTERED AFTERNOON SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
TODAY AND FRIDAY...

.DISCUSSION...AN UPPER LOW OVER ONTARIO WILL GRADUALLY LOSE ITS
INFLUENCE ON THE WEATHER PATTERN OVER UPPER MICHIGAN THE NEXT
COUPLE DAYS. EXPECT SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS TODAY AND
FRIDAY...ESPECIALLY OVER WESTERN AND CENTRAL UPPER MICHIGAN INLAND
FROM LAKE SUPERIOR. A DRY DAY IS EXPECTED ON SATURDAY. A COLD FRONT
MOVING IN LATE THIS WEEKEND WILL BRING A BETTER CHANCE OF SHOWERS
AND THUNDERSTORMS TO MUCH OF UPPER MICHIGAN SUNDAY AFTERNOON AND
SUNDAY EVENING. HIGH TEMPERATURES WILL WARM TO SLIGHTLY ABOVE NORMAL
BY SATURDAY AND SUNDAY...THEN FALL BELOW NORMAL AGAIN EARLY NEXT
WEEK.
