FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR CENTRAL/EASTERN AND SOUTHEASTERN IL
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE LINCOLN IL
300 PM CDT WED OCT 1 2014

.DISCUSSION...
CONDITIONS FOR CONTROLLED BURNS WILL NOT BE FAVORABLE THE NEXT
COUPLE OF DAYS DUE TO INCREASING MOISTURE LEVELS AND THE HIGH LIKLIHOOD
OF PRECIPITATION IN CENTRAL AND EASTERN ILLINOIS INTO EARLY FRIDAY.
A COLD FRONT IS EXPECTED TO MOVE INTO CENTRAL ILLINOIS THURSDAY EVENING
...AND EASTERN ILLINOIS FRIDAY MORNING. THIS WILL RESULT IN A SOUTH
WIND ON THURSDAY...SHIFTING TO A GUSTY WEST WIND DURING THE DAY
FRIDAY. MUCH COLDER WEATHER WILL BE THE RULE FRIDAY THROUGH THE WEEKEND
WITH DECREASING WIND SPEEDS BY LATER IN THE DAY SATURDAY.
