FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR NORTHERN ALABAMA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HUNTSVILLE AL
232 PM CST WED DEC 17 2014

.DISCUSSION...
LOW CLOUDS HAVE BEEN SLOW TO DIMINISH TODAY AND SHOULD CLEAR BY
AROUND SUNSET. A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM IN THE SOUTHERN PLAINS IS
SENDING HIGH CLOUDS TO THE AREA. CEILINGS WILL GRADUALLY LOWER
AS THE SYSTEM APPROACHES TONIGHT AND DISPERSION REMAINS GENERALLY
POOR DUE TO THE LIGHT WINDS. A FEW LIGHT SHOWERS ARE POSSIBLE
THURSDAY MORNING AS THE SYSTEM MOVES ACROSS THE AREA. A STRONGER
WEATHER SYSTEM LIFTS NORTHEAST OUT OF TEXAS FRIDAY INTO SATURDAY AND
WILL BRING BETTER CHANCES FOR RAIN AND SHOWERS FROM FRIDAY EVENING
THROUGH SATURDAY AFTERNOON.
