FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR NORTHERN ALABAMA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HUNTSVILLE AL
344 AM CDT SAT AUG 23 2014

.DISCUSSION...
HIGH PRESSURE CONTINUES TO LINGER OVER THE REGION PROVIDING HOT AND
HUMID CONDITIONS. A FEW SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS COULD MOVE AROUND
THE HIGH AND INTO THE EASTERN COUNTIES TODAY AND TONIGHT. A BETTER
CHANCE FOR SHOWERS/THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS THE AREA WOULD BE ON SUNDAY
WHEN A WEAK FRONT MOVES INTO THE AREA. WITH THE HIGH PRESSURE
OVERHEAD WINDS WILL BE LIGHT/VARIABLE AND NORTHERLY TRANSPORT WINDS
WILL 10MPH OR LESS...THEREFORE DISPERSIONS WILL BE GENERALLY GOOD TO
FAIR THROUGH SUNDAY.
