FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR NORTHERN ALABAMA

.DISCUSSION...
UNSETTLED WEATHER WILL CONTINUE FROM TODAY THROUGH MONDAY AS
SEVERAL WEAK DISTURBANCES AFFECT THE TENNESSEE VALLEY THROUGH
THE PERIOD. SHOWERS AND STORMS WILL BE ISOLATED TO SCATTERED IN
NATURE, WITH BETTER CHANCES DURING THE AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING
HOURS TODAY AND SATURDAY. RAIN CHANCES DECREASE LATE IN THE WEEKEND
AND WILL BECOME ISOLATED BY MONDAY, DRYING OUT AS WE APPROACH MIDWEEK.

WITH LIGHT AND VARIABLE WINDS IN PLACE, POOR TO FAIR SMOKE DISPERSION
IS EXPECTED THROUGH THE PERIOD, WITH MIXING HEIGHTS HOVERING BETWEEN
3000-4000FT DURING THE AFTERNOONS.
