.DISCUSSION...
SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE ACROSS SOUTHEAST TEXAS...
ESPECIALLY NORTH OF INTERSTATE 10...THROUGH THIS EVENING. AS A STRONG UPPER
LEVEL STORM SYSTEM APPROACHES FROM THE WEST TONIGHT...A LINE OF STRONG TO
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WITH DAMAGING WINDS AND MAYBE AN ISOLATED TORNADO IS
EXPECTED TO MOVE WEST TO EAST ACROSS THE AREA. AFTER THE STORM SYSTEM MOVES
OFF TO THE EAST OVERNIGHT...EXPECT A DRIER AND MUCH WARMER SOUTHWESTERLY FLOW
ON SUNDAY. A COLD FRONT WILL MOVE THROUGH THE AREA ON SUNDAY NIGHT WITH LIGHT
TO MODERATE NORTH WINDS EXPECTED IN ITS WAKE ON MONDAY. IT WILL REMAIN DRY
WITH COOL NIGHTS AND MILD DAYS FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE WEEK.
