NORTHERN NEW YORK
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE BURLINGTON VT
446 AM EDT FRI APR 18 2014

...FINE FUELS WILL CONTINUE TO DRY OUT TODAY...

.DISCUSSION...
A DRY AIR MASS EXISTS OVER THE AREA TODAY IN RESPONSE TO HIGH

SLOWLY NORTHEAST THROUGH TONIGHT AND AS A RESULT...PLENTY OF
SUNSHINE WILL EXIST TODAY TO DRY THE FINE FUELS OUT. THE DRYING
POTENTIAL WILL ALSO BE ENHANCED BY THE FACT THAT AFTERNOON
RELATIVE HUMIDITIES TODAY WILL BE IN THE 20 PERCENT RANGE. WINDS
