THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MELBOURNE HAS ISSUED A

* FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  NORTHWESTERN MARTIN COUNTY IN FLORIDA...
  SOUTHWESTERN ST. LUCIE COUNTY IN FLORIDA...

* UNTIL 145 AM EDT.

* AT 1044 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 3 TO 5 INCHES HAD FALLEN ACROSS FAR NORTHWEST
MARTIN COUNTY AND SOUTHWEST SAINT LUCIE COUNTY. ADDITIONAL RAINFALL
AMOUNTS OF ONE TO TWO INCHES WILL PRODUCE FLOODING OF ROADWAYS...AND
LOW-LYING AND POOR DRAINAGE AREAS ACROSS THESE AREAS.

* FLOODING WILL AFFECT PORTIONS OF SOUTHWEST SAINT LUCIE AND
NORTHWEST MARTIN COUNTY MAINLY ACROSS RURAL AREAS OF THESE COUNTIES.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL CREEKS
AND STREAMS...HIGHWAYS AND INTERSECTIONS. ADDITIONALLY...COUNTRY
ROADS AND FARMLANDS ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS AND STREAMS AND OTHER
LOW LYING AREAS ARE SUBJECT TO FLOODING.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODING. IF FLOODING IS OBSERVED ACT QUICKLY. MOVE UP TO
HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. DO NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO
FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.

A FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS OCCURRING NOW OR IS IMMINENT.
