WARNING FOR THE FOLLOWING RIVERS IN SOUTH CAROLINA...

  WATEREE RIVER AT LAKE WATEREE AFFECTING FAIRFIELD...KERSHAW AND
  LANCASTER COUNTIES

.RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAIN HAS RESULTED IN HIGH STAGES ALONG THE WATEREE RIVER..

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

SAFETY MESSAGE...NEVER DRIVE VEHICLES THROUGH FLOODED AREAS. THE
WATER MAY BE TOO DEEP TO ALLOW SAFE PASSAGE. NEVER ALLOW CHILDREN TO
PLAY IN OR NEAR FLOOD WATERS. STAY TUNED TO NOAA WEATHER RADIO...

* FLOOD WARNING FOR
  THE WATEREE RIVER AT LAKE WATEREE
* FROM LATE TONIGHT TO THURSDAY AFTERNOON...OR UNTIL THE WARNING IS
  CANCELLED.
* AT 10 AM SUNDAY THE STAGE WAS 98.7 FEET.
* FLOOD STAGE IS 100.0 FEET.
* MINOR FLOODING IS FORECAST.
* FORECAST...THE RIVER WILL RISE ABOVE FLOOD STAGE AFTER MIDNIGHT
  AND CONTINUE TO RISE TO  100.6 FEET TOMORROW EVENING. THE
  RIVER WILL FALL BELOW FLOOD STAGE BY WEDNESDAY APRIL 23.
* AT 100.4 FEET...THE WATER BEGINS TO OVERFLOW ONE OR MORE MARINAS AND
  PIERS ALONG THE NORTHWEST SHORES.
