PEOPLE WITH INTERESTS ALONG THE RIVER SHOULD TAKE THE NECESSARY PRECAUTIONS TO
PROTECT LIFE AND PROPERTY FROM THE FLOOD WATERS.

  THE NORTHEAST CAPE FEAR NEAR BURGAW
* UNTIL SUNDAY EVENING.
* AT 8 PM WEDNESDAY THE STAGE WAS 8.4 FEET.
* ADVISORY STAGE IS 8.0 FEET.
* FORECAST...THE RIVER WILL RISE TO NEAR 9.0 FEET BY EARLY FRIDAY AFTERNOON.
* IMPACT...AT 8.0 FEET...WATER AFFECTS THE LOWEST PORTIONS OF RIVER BEND ROAD AND
  RIVER BIRCH ROAD.
