THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN AUSTIN SAN ANTONIO HAS ISSUED A

* SMALL STREAM FLOOD ADVISORY FOR...
  EAST CENTRAL WILSON COUNTY...
  NORTHEASTERN KARNES COUNTY...
  SOUTHERN GONZALES COUNTY...

* UNTIL 700 AM CST

* AT 448 AM CST...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE METEOROLOGISTS HAVE
  DETECTED AN AREA OF HEAVY RAINFALL ACROSS THE ADVISORY AREA.
  DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATED THAT HOURLY RAINFALL AMOUNTS NEAR 1.5
  INCHES ARE OCCURRING AND THIS WILL LIKELY  CAUSE A QUICK SURGE
  OF LOCAL STREAMS NEAR LOW WATER CROSSINGS.

* RUNOFF FROM THIS RAINFALL WILL CAUSE MINOR FLOODING TO OCCUR...
  ESPECIALLY ALONG SMALL STREAMS AND NEAR LOW WATER CROSSINGS. SOME
  LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE MINOR FLOODING INCLUDE...GILLETT AND
  SMILEY.

RADAR ESTIMATES NEARING 2 TO 3 INCHES HAVE OCCURRED IN THE AFFECTED
REGION OVER THE PAST 3 HOURS AND ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAINFALL RESULTING
IN ANOTHER INCH COULD OCCUR OVER THE NEXT HOUR.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE MINOR FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...COUNTRY ROADS...AS WELL AS FARMLAND ALONG THE
BANKS OF CREEKS AND STREAMS.
