* ARROYO AND SMALL STREAM FLOOD ADVISORY FOR...
  EAST CENTRAL LINCOLN COUNTY IN CENTRAL NEW MEXICO
  NORTH CENTRAL CHAVES COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST NEW MEXICO

* UNTIL 445 PM MDT

* AT 252 PM MDT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  HEAVY RAIN FROM SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORMS OVER SOUTHEAST LINCOLN
  AND NORTHWEST CHAVES COUNTIES. THESE STORMS WERE PRODUCING ONE
  INCH OR MORE OF RAIN IN ONE HOURS TIME OR LESS. LOCATIONS THAT
  MAY BE IMPACTED BY THE HEAVY RAIN INCLUDE STATE ROUTE 246...SAL
  CREEK AND ARCHULETA CREEK.

* STRONG FLOWS AND HIGH WATER LEVELS ARE EXPECTED IN ARROYOS...SMALL
  STREAMS AND OVER LOW WATER CROSSINGS. RAPID RUNOFF CAN ALSO BE
  EXPECTED IMMEDIATELY OVER AND DOWNSTREAM FROM WILDFIRE BURN SCARS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

THE HEAVY RAINFALL AND SLOW MOVEMENT OF THESE STORMS MAY RESULT IN
FLOODING OF ROAD INTERSECTIONS AND LOW-LYING AREAS. WATERS MAY BEGIN
TO RUN IN NORMALLY DRY ARROYOS.
