...A FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1045 PM CDT FOR
REEVES...WESTERN WINKLER...NORTHWESTERN WARD...EXTREME WEST CENTRAL
PECOS AND LOVING COUNTIES...

AT 940 PM CDT...LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS REPORTED HEAVY RAIN
HAS RESULTED IN PORTIONS OF S.H.17 BEING CLOSED AT BALMORHEA.
THE HEAVIEST RAIN WAS CENTERED NEAR SARAGOSA AND WAS MOVING NORTH
AT 5 MPH.

THE THUNDERSTORM PRODUCING FLASH FLOODING WILL AFFECT THE FOLLOWING
LOCATIONS...VERHALEN...SARAGOSA...BALMORHEA AND TOYAHVALE.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODING. ACT QUICKLY IF FLOODING IS OBSERVED. MOVE TO
HIGHER GROUND.
