...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR CENTRAL LIPSCOMB...NORTH
CENTRAL HEMPHILL AND EASTERN BEAVER COUNTIES UNTIL 800 AM CDT...

* AT 701 AM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
  THUNDERSTORM WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL 27 MILES SOUTHEAST OF BEAVER.
  DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATES 1 TO 3 INCHES OF RAIN HAVE ALREADY FALLEN
  OVER PARTS OF THE WARNED AREA IN THE PAST 4 HOURS WITH ADDITIONAL
  HEAVY RAIN EXPECTED. FLOODING IS LIKELY TO OCCUR. WHILE
  PRECIPITATION MAY TAPER OFF IN SOME AREAS...IT WILL TAKE SOME TIME
  FOR ANY HIGH WATER TO RUNOFF.

* SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
  LIPSCOMB...           SLAPOUT...            GATE...
  FOLLETT...            DARROUZETT...

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL CREEKS
AND STREAMS...COUNTRY ROADS...NORMALLY DRY WASHES... AS WELL AS
FARMLAND ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS AND STREAMS.

MOST FLOOD RELATED DEATHS OCCUR IN VEHICLES. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS
BRIDGES...DIPS...OR OTHER LOW SPOTS IF WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY.
NEVER TRY TO CROSS A FLOWING STREAM...EVEN A SMALL ONE...ON FOOT OR
IN A VEHICLE.
