...FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH THIS EVENING FOR
SOUTHEAST NEW MEXICO...THE GUADALUPE AND DAVIS MOUNTAINS...VAN
HORN REGION...MOST OF THE TRANS PECOS AND THE PERMIAN BASIN...

.REMNANTS OF TROPICAL STORM ODILE WILL REMAIN OVER THE REGION
TODAY. THESE REMNANTS...ALONG WITH ADDITIONAL MOISTURE FROM T.S.
POLO...WILL CONTINUE TO KEEP LOCALLY AVAILABLE MOISTURE WELL ABOVE
NORMAL. HEAVY RAIN HAS ALREADY FALLEN OVER PARTS OF THE AREA
DURING THE PAST FEW DAYS WITH THE POTENTIAL FOR ADDITIONAL HEAVY
RAIN OVER THESE SAME AREAS TODAY. MODERATE TO HEAVY RAINFALL IS
POSSIBLE...AND WITH THE GROUND SATURATED IN MANY AREAS...
ADDITIONAL FLASH FLOODING WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS SOUTHEAST NEW
MEXICO AND MUCH OF WEST TEXAS DURING THIS TIME.

  COUNTY...NORTHERN LEA COUNTY AND SOUTHERN LEA COUNTY. IN
  TEXAS...ANDREWS...BORDEN...CRANE...DAVIS/APACHE MOUNTAINS
  AREA...DAWSON...ECTOR...GAINES...GLASSCOCK...GUADALUPE
  MOUNTAINS...HOWARD...LOVING...MARTIN...MIDLAND...MITCHELL...

* FLOODING OF RIVERS...CREEKS...ARROYOS...LOW WATER CROSSINGS
  AND CITY STREETS WILL BE POSSIBLE.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT CONDITIONS MAY DEVELOP THAT LEAD
TO FLASH FLOODING. FLASH FLOODING IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.

YOU SHOULD MONITOR LATER FORECASTS AND BE PREPARED TO TAKE ACTION
SHOULD FLASH FLOOD WARNINGS BE ISSUED.
