...FLASH FLOOD POTENTIAL INDEX FOR EXTREME SOUTHWESTERN CALIFORNIA...

.SYNOPSIS...
AN AREA OF LOW PRESSURE WILL BRING CHANCES FOR THUNDERSTORMS TO
THE REGION...INCLUDING THE COASTAL AREAS AT TIMES...THROUGH
THURSDAY. MOST OF THE THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE HIGH BASED AND PRODUCE
LIGHT TO OCCASIONALLY MODERATE RAINFALL AMOUNTS. THE BEST CHANCES
OF HEAVIER RAIN WILL BE OVER THE MOUNTAINS AND DESERTS...THOUGH
OVERALL...THE FLASH FLOOD THREAT WILL BE LOW WITH THIS SYSTEM. THE
UPPER LOW WILL MOVE EAST OF THE REGION FRIDAY AND END THE THREAT
OF PRECIPITATION.
