...SIGNIFICANT FLOODING POSSIBLE...

HEAVY RAINFALL OF ONE TO THREE INCHES IS EXPECTED IN THE AREA TONIGHT
THROUGH FRIDAY MORNING AS A STRONG LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM MOVES FROM
THE PLAINS TO THE GREAT LAKES. THE HEAVIEST RAINFALL IN OUR AREA
FROM THIS SYSTEM IS EXPECTED ALONG AND SOUTH OF ROUTE 24.

IF THE HEAVY RAINFALL DEVELOPS AS EXPECTED... SIGNIFICANT FLOODING
OF RIVERS IN THE AREA IS POSSIBLE. IN ADDITION... LOW LYING FLOOD
PRONE AREAS COULD ALSO EXPERIENCE FLOODING.

PEOPLE LIVING NEAR RIVERS OR PLANNING TO TRAVEL THROUGH FLOOD
PRONE AREAS SHOULD LISTEN FOR THE LATEST FORECASTS AND POSSIBLE
FLOOD WATCHES AND WARNINGS LATE THIS WEEK AND INTO THE WEEKEND.
