.SUMMARY...
DESPITE A FEW BRIEF WARM PERIODS DURING THE SEASON...TEMPERATURES
WERE WELL BELOW THE 30-YEAR AVERAGE. READINGS EVEN DROPPING TO THE
SINGLE DIGITS IN EARLY JANUARY. THIS WAS THE FIRST WINTER WITH
SINGLE DIGIT TEMPERATURES AT NORTH LITTLE ROCK SINCE 1995-1996.

RAINFALL WAS CLOSE TO THE 30-YEAR AVERAGE...THOUGH BELOW THE AMOUNT
OF THE LAST TWO WINTERS. SNOWFALL WAS SLIGHTLY BELOW AVERAGE...AND
SIGNIFICANTLY LESS THAN LAST WINTER...AS THERE WERE NO EXCESSIVE
DAILY SNOWFALLS THIS YEAR.

.SEASONAL TEMPERATURES...
THE AVERAGE HIGH TEMPERATURE WAS THE COLDEST SINCE 2009-2010...AND
THE 10TH COLDEST ON RECORD.

THE AVERAGE LOW TEMPERATURE WAS THE COLDEST SINCE 2009-2010...AND
THE 7TH COLDEST ON RECORD.

THE AVERAGE SEASONAL TEMPERATURE WAS THE COLDEST SINCE 2009-2010...
AND THE 8TH COLDEST ON RECORD.

.NUMBER OF DAYS WITH TEMPERATURES...
AT OR ABOVE 70 DEGREES...5...THE FEWEST SINCE 2011-2012
AT OR BELOW FREEZING...55...THE MOST SINCE 1978-1979

THE LEAST SNOW SINCE THE WINTER OF 2011-2012.

THERE WERE FIVE DAYS WITH MEASURABLE SNOWFALL...MAKING IT THE MOST
SINCE THE WINTER OF 2010-2011. THERE WERE 19 DAYS WITH SNOWFALL...
MEASURABLE OR NOT...WHICH WAS THE MOST SINCE 1983-1984. THERE WERE
12 DAYS WITH SNOW ON THE GROUND...MEASURABLE OR NOT...MAKING IT THE
MOST SINCE 2009-2010.
