NOVEMBER OF 2014 RECORDED QUIET WEATHER CONDITIONS IN SHREVEPORT
WITH BELOW NORMAL TEMPERATURES AND NORMAL RAINFALL.  THIS NOVEMBER
NOW RANKS AS THE TWELFTH COOLEST NOVEMBER ON RECORD AND THE COOLEST
SINCE THE NOVEMBER OF 1993 THAT RANKED AS THE NINTH COOLEST WITH AN
AVERAGE TEMPERATURE OF 52.0 DEGREES.

SHREVEPORT REPORTED NO SEVERE WEATHER...WINTER PRECIPITATION...NOR
BROKEN OR TIED WEATHER RECORDS THIS NOVEMBER DUE TO QUITE CHILLY AND
DRY AIRMASSES MOVING IN FROM THE CANADIAN TERRITORIES.

THE GROWING SEASON ENDED IN SHREVEPORT DURING THE MORNING OF THE
13TH WITH A LOW OF 30 DEGREES.  THE NORMAL FIRST FREEZE DATE IS
ABOUT NOVEMBER 15TH.  THE LAST FREEZE DURING LAST SPRING WAS
RECORDED DURING MARCH 7TH GIVING SHREVEPORT A 241 DAY GROWING SEASON.

FOR THE METEOROLOGICAL AUTUMN OF 2014 (SEPTEMBER 1ST THROUGH
NOVEMBER 30TH)...SHREVEPORT AVERAGED A TEMPERATURE OF 67.0
DEGREES...THE NORMAL IS 66.6 DEGREES.  WE TALLIED 11.48 INCHES OF
RAINFALL...THE NORMAL AUTUMN RAINFALL IS 12.65 INCHES.
