THE MONTHLY TOTAL PRECIPITATION OF 0.51 INCHES WAS 2.89 INCHES BELOW
NORMAL AND THE 7TH DRIEST JULY ON RECORD.  WITH AN AVERAGE
TEMPERATURE OF 75.0 DEGREES...WHICH IS 2.6 DEGREES BELOW
NORMAL...THIS WAS THE 25TH COOLEST JULY ON RECORD IN LINCOLN.

THE MONTH OF JULY WAS DOMINATED BY BELOW NORMAL TEMPERATURES
THROUGHOUT THE MONTH...WITH ONLY LIGHT PRECIPITATION AMOUNTS THROUGH
THE MONTH.  TEMPERATURES WERE WELL BELOW NORMAL THROUGH THE
4TH...WITH A QUICK JUMP INTO THE 90S FROM THE 5TH THROUGH THE 7TH
BEFORE COOLER WEATHER RETURNED FROM THE 8TH THROUGH THE 10TH.
THUNDERSTORMS BROUGHT RAINFALL ON THE 5TH...7TH...AND 9TH...WITH NO
DAILY AMOUNTS HIGHER THAN 0.14 INCHES.

TEMPERATURES RETURNED TO THE 90S BRIEFLY ON THE 11TH THROUGH THE
13TH...WITH MUCH COOLER WEATHER FOLLOWING FROM THE 14TH THROUGH THE
19TH.  A DAILY RECORD COLD MINIMUM TEMPERATURE WAS SET ON THE 16TH
AT 48 DEGREES...WHICH WAS THE COLDEST READING OF THE MONTH.  LIGHT
RAINS ALSO WERE RECORDED ON THE 12TH THROUGH 14TH.  WITH A RETURN TO
THE 90S OR HIGHER ON THE 20TH THROUGH THE 22ND...AND AGAIN ON THE
25TH AND 26TH...THE WARMEST TEMPERATURE OF THE MONTH WAS RECORDED ON
THE 21ST AT 102 DEGREES.  THUNDERSTORMS BROUGHT LIGHT RAINS AGAIN ON
THE 25TH AND 26TH...AND  COOLER THAN NORMAL TEMPERATURES PREVAILED
FROM THE 27TH THROUGH THE REST OF THE MONTH.
