WASHINGTON DC...REAGAN NATIONAL AIRPORT...

THE MONTHLY AVERAGE TEMPERATURE IN WASHINGTON DC THIS JULY 2014 WAS
SLIGHTLY BELOW NORMAL. PRECIPITATION WAS ABOVE NORMAL.

ALTHOUGH THE MONTHLY AVERAGE TEMPERATURE WAS ONLY SLIGHTLY BELOW
NORMAL...THIS WAS THE COOLEST JULY SINCE 2009. THE LOW TEMPERATURE
OF 60 DEGF ON THE 30TH WAS THE COOLEST JULY TEMPERATURE OBSERVED
SINCE 2002 WHEN THE TEMPERATURE DROPPED TO 60 DEGF ON THE 12TH.

DAILY RAINFALL OF 1.71 INCHES ON THE 15TH MARKED THE RAINIEST JULY
DAY SINCE 2010 WHEN 1.86 INCHES OF RAINFALL WAS OBSERVED ON THE 13TH.

DESPITE THE COOL TEMPERATURES AND ABOVE NORMAL PRECIPITATION...NO
RECORDS WERE BROKEN THIS MONTH.
