COASTAL FLOOD WATCH.

STORM SURGE IS EXPECT TO REMAIN BELOW MODERATE COASTAL FLOOD
BENCHMARKS DURING THE BLIZZARD. SOME MINOR COASTAL FLOODING IS STILL
POSSIBLE AND A COASTAL FLOOD STATEMENT MAY BE ISSUE LATER TODAY.

  WITH A POSSIBILITY OF 3 1/2.

* TIMING...1 TO 7 AM EARLY TUESDAY MORNING.

* BEACH EROSION IMPACTS...BEACH EROSION AND WASHOVERS ALONG OCEAN
  FACING BARRIER BEACHES OF EASTERN LONG ISLAND DUE TO 8 TO 12 FT
  WAVES AND HIGH STORM TIDE. IN ADDITION...HIGH WAVE ACTION WILL
  CAUSE BEACH EROSION ALONG NORTH FACING SHORELINES WITH OPEN
  EXPOSURE TO LONG ISLAND SOUND AND GARDINERS BAYS. A FEW EXPOSED
  WATER FRONT STRUCTURES MAY BE DAMAGED.
