.DEEP WATER SWELLS OF MAINLY 4-8 FEET AND WITH VERY LONG
WAVELENTHS OF 14 TO 15 SECONDS HAVE ARRIVED ALONG THE COAST.
THESE SWELLS WILL MAKE FOR A HIGH RISK OF RIP CURRENTS INTO
EARLY FRIDAY.

* LOCATION...OCEAN EXPOSED BEACHES.

* SURF HEIGHT...MAINLY 4-8 FT.

* TIMING...THE REST OF TODAY THROUGH FRIDAY MORNING.

* IMPACTS...INCREASED RISK OF DANGEROUS RIP CURRENTS AT AREA
  BEACHES AS WELL AS STRONGER THAN NORMAL WAVES. LARGE WAVES CAN
  SWEEP A PERSON INTO THE OCEAN FROM WHAT MAY NORMALLY BE A SAFE
  VIEWING AREA.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A HIGH SURF ADVISORY MEANS THAT HIGH SURF WILL AFFECT BEACHES IN
THE ADVISORY AREA...PRODUCING RIP CURRENTS AND LOCALIZED BEACH
EROSION.
