NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE BIRMINGHAM AL
1058 AM CDT SUN APR 13 2014

...THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BIRMINGHAM AL HAS ISSUED A FLOOD
WARNING FOR THE FOLLOWING RIVERS IN ALABAMA...

  SUCARNOOCHEE RIVER AT LIVINGSTON AFFECTING SUMTER COUNTY.

RIVER LEVELS CONTINUE TO FALL FOR THE SUCARNOOCHEE RIVER AT
LIVINGSTON. HOWEVER...ADDITIONAL RAINFALL OF 2 TO 2.5 INCHES MONDAY
AND MONDAY NIGHT ACROSS THE SUCARNOOCHEE RIVER BASIN WILL LIKELY SEND
THE SUCARNOOCHEE RIVER AT LIVINGSTON BACK INTO FLOOD BY TUESDAY.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

DO NOT DRIVE CARS THROUGH FLOODED AREAS. TURN AROUND...DON`T DROWN.

ANOTHER STATEMENT WILL BE ISSUED BY MONDAY MORNING...OR SOONER IF
CONDITIONS WARRANT.

* FLOOD WARNING FOR
  THE SUCARNOOCHEE RIVER AT LIVINGSTON.
* FROM TUESDAY EVENING TO LATE THURSDAY NIGHT...OR UNTIL THE WARNING
  IS CANCELLED.
* AT 10:30 AM SUNDAY THE STAGE WAS 13 FEET.
* FLOOD STAGE IS 18 FEET.
* MINOR FLOODING IS FORECAST.
* FORECAST...RISE ABOVE FLOOD STAGE BY TUESDAY EVENING AND CONTINUE
  TO RISE TO NEAR 19 FEET BY WEDNESDAY EVENING. THE RIVER WILL FALL
  BELOW FLOOD STAGE BY THURSDAY AFTERNOON.
* IMPACT...AT 18 FEET...FLOODING OF FARM LANDS AROUND LIVINGSTON
  OCCURS AND CATTLE SHOULD BE MOVED TO HIGHER GROUND.
