COLORADO AVALANCHE INFORMATION CENTER.

...AVALANCHE WATCH FOR THE PARK RANGE...FLAT TOP MOUNTAINS...ELK
MOUNTAINS...WEST ELK MOUNTAINS... AND RUBY RANGE...

THE COLORADO AVALANCHE INFORMATION CENTER HAS ISSUED AN AVALANCHE
WATCH FOR THE MOUNTAINS OF THE STEAMBOAT...ASPEN...AND GUNNISON
AREAS. A STRONG WINTER STORM WILL IMPACT THE AREA STARTING SATURDAY
NIGHT. AVALANCHE DANGER WILL INCREASE RAPIDLY AS SNOW ACCUMULATES AND
DRIFTS. BACKCOUNTRY AVALANCHE CONDITIONS COULD BECOME VERY DANGEROUS
ON SUNDAY. TRAVEL IN OR BELOW AVALANCHE TERRAIN IS NOT RECOMMENDED.
