OMAHA POLLUTION INDEX/POLLEN COUNT
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE OMAHA/VALLEY NE
933 AM CDT WED OCT 01 2014

THE OMAHA METROPOLITAN AREA POLLUTANT STANDARDS INDEX FORECAST FOR
TODAY IS 34 AND THE FORECAST FOR THURSDAY IS 35.  BOTH VALUES
REPRESENT GOOD AIR QUALITY WITH OZONE THE PRIMARY POLLUTANT FOR
BOTH DAYS.

THE POLLEN COUNT FOR WEEDS TODAY WAS 18...A MODERATE COUNT...WITH
RAGWEED AND PIGWEED THE MAIN POLLENS. THE POLLEN COUNT FOR GRASSES
WAS ZERO AND THE POLLEN COUNT FOR TREES WAS ALSO ZERO.

AIR POLLUTION FORECASTS ARE PROVIDED BY THE OMAHA AIR QUALITY
CONTROL DEPARTMENT.

POLLEN COUNTS ARE PROVIDED BY THE DOUGLAS COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT.
