ADMINISTRATIVE MESSAGE
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE GREAT FALLS MT
1229 PM MST SAT NOV 22 2014

TO ALL WFOS SURROUNDING WFO TFX
FM WFO TFX

WFO TFX HAS ISSUED A HEADS-UP EMAIL TO OUR EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT
COMMUNITY AND OTHER PARTNERS.

EMAIL TOPIC...UPDATE TO THE WEATHER SITUATION FOR WEDNESDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

...REASONING IN EMAIL...
FORECAST MODELS CONTINUE TO EXHIBIT UNCERTAINTY WITH REGARD TO
WEATHER FOR WEDNESDAY THROUGH THANKSGIVING. EARLIER MODELS WERE
INDICATING A COOLER AND WETTER SOLUTION WHILE FRIDAY THEY TRENDED
WARMER AND DRIER. TODAY THEY HAVE GONE BACK TO A COOLER AND WETTER
SOLUTION. AS OF THIS AFTERNOON THERE IS THE POTENTIAL FOR SNOW WHICH
COULD AFFECT TRAVEL PLANS FOR THE HOLIDAY PERIOD AND WINTER WEATHER
HIGHLIGHTS MIGHT BE NEEDED. DETERMINING WHEN AND WHERE SNOW WILL
FALL AS WELL AS HOW MUCH WILL FALL CONTINUES TO BE A PROBLEM. WE
WILL CONTINUE TO KEEP YOU UPDATED ON THIS EVER-CHANGING SITUATION.

IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS...DO NOT HESITATE TO CALL OR
CHAT US.
