THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PUERTO RICO AND THE ADJACENT
ATLANTIC COASTAL WATERS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

THE LOCAL ISLANDS WILL CONTINUE UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF UPPER LEVEL
TROUGH WHICH WILL INTERACT WITH PATCHES OF LOW LEVEL MOISTURE AND
LOCAL EFFECTS TO PRODUCE SHOWERS WITH THUNDERSTORMS. UNDER THE
PREVAILING WIND FLOW...EXPECT PASSING SHOWERS ACROSS THE NORTH AND
EAST COASTAL SECTIONS OF THE ISLANDS IN THE MORNING...FOLLOWED BY
AFTERNOON CONVECTION WHICH WILL BE MAINLY FOCUSED ACROSS WESTERN
PUERTO RICO. URBAN FLOODING POSSIBLE WITH THE HEAVIEST SHOWERS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

AN ELONGATED AREA OF LOW PRESSURE EAST OF THE LESSER ANTILLES NOW
HAS 50 PERCENT CHANCE OF BECOMING A TROPICAL CYCLONE THROUGH 5
DAYS. REGARDLESS OF TROPICAL CYCLONE DEVELOPMENT...THIS SYSTEM IS
EXPECTED TO MAINTAIN A WELL-DEFINED MID LEVEL CIRCULATION AND
LIKELY BRING PERIODS OF HEAVY RAINFALL AND SQUALLS FRIDAY THROUGH
SATURDAY AS IT MOVES ACROSS THE EASTERN CARIBBEAN SEA.
