THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI
OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

  LIMITED EXCESSIVE COLD RISK.
  ELEVATED SNOW RISK.

DISCUSSION...

  SNOW WILL SLOWLY TAPER OFF FROM NORTHWEST TO SOUTHEAST ACROSS
  THE MISSOURI OZARKS FROM LATE THIS EVENING INTO THE OVERNIGHT
  PERIOD. BEFORE THE SNOW ENDS...STORM TOTAL AMOUNTS OF AROUND
  ONE INCH ARE EXPECTED NORTH OF INTERSTATE 44...WITH ONE TO
  THREE INCHES ALONG THE INTERSTATE 44 CORRIDOR. THE HEAVIEST
  AMOUNTS WILL OCCUR ALONG AND SOUTHEAST OF A LINE FROM
  KIMBERLING CITY...TO MARSHFIELD TO SALEM WHERE FOUR TO SIX
  INCHES OF SNOWFALL ARE EXPECTED. LOCALIZED AMOUNTS UP TO SEVEN
  INCHES WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS PARTS OF SOUTH CENTRAL
  MISSOURI.

  TEMPERATURES FALLING THROUGH THE TEENS MAY ALSO RESULT IN
  SOME REFREEZING ON AREA ROADWAYS OVERNIGHT WHERE ROADS HAD
  BEEN WET ON WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON. WIND CHILLS IN THE SINGLE
  DIGITS TO NEAR ZERO ARE ALSO EXPECTED BY LATE TONIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY.

  ARCTIC COLD AIR WILL REMAIN IN PLACE THURSDAY INTO FRIDAY
  MORNING WITH WIND CHILLS DIPPING BACK DOWN INTO THE SINGLE
  DIGITS ABOVE AND BELOW ZERO.
