THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHWEST
IOWA...WEST CENTRAL IOWA...EAST CENTRAL NEBRASKA...NORTHEAST
NEBRASKA AND SOUTHEAST NEBRASKA.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

ISOLATED TO SCATTERED NON-SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE
THROUGH TONIGHT ACROSS ALL OF THE OUTLOOK AREA. A WEAK FRONT IN
NORTHEAST NEBRASKA WILL REMAIN IN PLACE THROUGH THE EVENING...THEN
BEGIN MOVING SOUTHEAST OVERNIGHT. AHEAD OF THE FRONT...SHOWER AND
THUNDERSTORM CHANCES WILL INCREASE THROUGH THE LATE AFTERNOON AND
EVENING...BUT WITH LIMITED SHEAR AND INSTABILITY...THUNDERSTORMS
ARE EXPECTED TO BE ISOLATED AND RELATIVELY WEAK. MORE STORMS ARE
EXPECTED TO FORM ALONG THE COLD FRONT AS IT MOVES SOUTHEAST
OVERNIGHT. AGAIN INSTABILITY AND SHEAR WILL BE WEAK...SO ONLY
GENERAL THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY IS FORECAST.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

ISOLATED NON-SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS COULD LINGER ACROSS SOUTHEAST
NEBRASKA INTO MONDAY AFTERNOON AS A COLD FRONT PRESSES SOUTHEAST
ACROSS THE AREA. BY AFTERNOON THE COMBINATION OF GUSTY NORTH
WINDS...LOW DEW POINT TEMPERATURES AND HIGHS CLIMBING TO AROUND
70 COULD PUSH THE FIRE DANGER INDEX INTO THE VERY HIGH CATEGORY
OVER MUCH OF THE AREA.

A STRONG UPPER LEVEL SYSTEM WILL LIKELY MOVE ACROSS THE NORTHERN
PLAINS WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY. THIS SYSTEM COULD BRING
THUNDERSTORMS TO THE AREA AS EARLY AS TUESDAY NIGHT BUT ESPECIALLY
BY LATE WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING. A FEW STRONG OR SEVERE
STORMS ARE EXPECTED...AND LATER OUTLOOKS WILL PROVIDE BETTER
DETAILS ON TIMING AND MAIN THREATS. THERE REMAINS A SMALL CHANCE
THAT STRONG STORMS COULD LINGER OR REDEVELOP OVER EASTERN PARTS
OF THE AREA INTO THURSDAY.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

SPOTTER ACTIVATION WILL NOT BE NEEDED THIS AFTERNOON OR TONIGHT.
