PORTIONS OF NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

A RED FLAG WARNING FOR CRITICAL FIRE DANGER HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR
THE AREA NORTH AND EAST OF A LINE FROM LOUP CITY TO GRAND ISLAND
TO SUPERIOR NEBRASKA...AND ALSO JEWELL AND MITCHELL COUNTIES IN
NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS. PLEASE REFER TO THE RED FLAG WARNING
MESSAGE FOR FURTHER INFORMATION. EVEN OUTSIDE THE WARNING
AREA...NEAR-CRITICAL FIRE DANGER IS POSSIBLE WITHIN THE REMAINDER
OF THE OUTLOOK AREA.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY.

THERE IS A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS FOR MOST OF THE OUTLOOK AREA
WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON AND WEDNESDAY NIGHT. SEVERE WEATHER IS POSSIBLE
WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING...ESPECIALLY ALONG AND SOUTHEAST OF
A LINE FROM CENTRAL CITY TO GRAND ISLAND NEBRASKA TO PHILLIPSBURG
KANSAS. THE MAIN THREATS WILL BE WIND GUSTS OF 60 MPH OR MORE AND
HAIL THE SIZE OF QUARTERS OR GREATER.
