THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR SOUTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA AND
PORTIONS OF NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

HEAT INDEX VALUES WILL REACH OR EXCEED 100 DEGREES THIS AFTERNOON
ACROSS NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS.

THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT FOR
MUCH OF THE OUTLOOK AREA. SOME OF THE STORMS THIS AFTERNOON AND
EVENING MAY BE STRONG WITH WIND GUSTS TO 50 MPH AND HAIL TO THE
SIZE OF NICKELS THE PRIMARY THREATS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY.

HEAT INDEX VALUES WILL APPROACH OR EXCEED 100 DEGREES ACROSS MUCH OF
NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS BOTH THURSDAY AND FRIDAY AFTERNOONS.

IN ADDITION...INTERMITTENT CHANCES FOR THUNDERSTORMS WILL ALSO EXIST
ACROSS MUCH OF THE OUTLOOK AREA EACH DAY THROUGH NEXT TUESDAY...WITH
THE HIGHEST PROBABILITIES FOR THUNDERSTORMS COMING DURING THE
EVENING AND OVERNIGHT HOURS. AT THIS TIME...THE BEST CHANCE FOR SOME
STRONG TO MARGINALLY SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS APPEARS TO BE FRIDAY
AFTERNOON AND NIGHT.
