THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL...SOUTH
CENTRAL...SOUTHWEST AND WEST CENTRAL KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

STRONG THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP LATE TONIGHT ALONG AN
ELEVATED FRONT, PARTICULARLY ALONG AND WEST OF HIGHWAY 283. AT
THIS TIME, THE SEVERE WEATHER THREAT APPEARS LOW, BUT SOME SOME
LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL AND FREQUENT CLOUD-TO-GROUND LIGHTNING CAN
BE EXPECTED.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

WIDESPREAD MODERATE TO HEAVY RAINFALL IS LIKELY TUESDAY AND
WEDNESDAY. THE ATMOSPHERE IS EXPECTED TO BE FAIRLY STABLE WITH A
FAIRLY LOW PROBABILITY OF SEVERE STORMS. SOME LOCALIZED FLOODING
MAY OCCUR BETWEEN THE ARKANSAS RIVER AND THE OKLAHOMA BORDER
ANYTIME FROM MIDDAY TUESDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON AS
MULTIPLE ROUNDS OF HEAVY RAINFALL ARE EXPECTED ACROSS THE REGION.
